Audience Feedback - Ancilliary Task - Poster (2nd Draft/Final Piece)

Having considered what the focus group had suggested we work on I put all three key improvements into the poster.

However due to the loss of the fully monochromatic effect the 'gradient shading' effect would have provided I decided against using this effect into the background of my poster as I felt it ruined the "eye catching factor" that was considered as a positive in  the 1st draft.

However as it can clearly be seen I have considered the rearranging of the brightness and contrast levels within the background image of both the band members and whilst retaining the camera flash reflection effect being generating on both band members faces I have been able to enhance the tones of black on both band members bodies. So that both the strong black of the text is fitting with the black tones of the band members clothing etc.

As well as this I also moved the bands name/logo further up the poster along with the date of the albums release (presented in Roman numerals) in order to remove the sense of a compact and "squashed in" image onto the poster. However in order to achieve clarity in the posters information I added the date in modern numbers underneath the roman numerals to ensure the release date was clear. This was important as a vast amount of our audience wasn't sure what the numbers from the roman numerals translated into.

As well as this I also added the bands record company logo onto the poster in order to comply to conventional aspects of a pop promo poster.
